Quantitative Plant Proteomics Services

Proteome is a holistic concept that refers to all proteins expressed in the genome of cells, tissues, or organisms. Dynamic changes in proteome abundance have important implications for a variety of plant life processes, including signaling pathway regulation and protein interactions during plant disease development and abiotic stresses. Therefore, quantifying plant proteomics is of great significance for further studying the action mechanism of plant proteins.

CD BioSciences provides quantitative services of discovery and targeted plant proteomics, helping research the global proteomic dynamics of plants. Our advanced mass spectrometry instruments and technologies help customers further investigate plant disease mechanisms, cellular metabolism, and other processes at the protein level.

Service Content

Untargeted Quantitative Plant Proteomics Service

We quantify the total amount of proteins expressed in complex mixed systems or genomes during the early research phase of biomarker discovery. We can identify differentially expressed plant proteins and reveal their functions. Our services include untargeted quantitative plant proteomics based on TMT/iTRAQ/MultiNotch, SILAC/Dimethyl, Label-Free, and SWATH.

Targeted Quantitative Plant Proteomics Service

Our service can study the dynamic changes of plant proteins and reveal the relationship between targeted protein abundance and plant physiological processes such as growth, development, stress response, and metabolism. Our services include targeted quantitative plant proteomics based on SRM/MRM, PRM, 4D-PRM, AQUA, and PEA.

Quantitative Plant Post-Translational Modification Proteomics Services

PTM endows protein activity, and our services help customers gain a deeper understanding of the impact of PTM on the structure, function, and action mechanism of plant proteins.

Our services include
Acetylation proteomics Ubiquitination proteomics
Phosphorylation proteomics SUMOylation proteomics
Glycosylation proteomics Disulfide bond
Methylation proteomics

Application Fields

  • Screening for differentially expressed proteins between samples under different pathological conditions or developmental stages.
  • Research on plant stress biology.
  • Crop variety improvement.
  • Identify protein functional modules and pathways.
  • Screening and identification of biomarkers.
  • Biological analysis of cytokines.
  • Ligand receptor binding analysis.
  • Analyzing enzyme activity and determining enzyme substrates.

Our Advantages

  • Our service is particularly suitable for analyzing multiple samples simultaneously, with high accuracy and short experimental cycles.
  • Our methods include label-free, in vitro, and in vivo labels, which are suitable for analyzing various samples of plant tissue, cells, and protein.
  • Our MS instruments have high sensitivity and can detect lower abundance proteins, allowing for a wide range of comparison of relative protein abundances.
