Targeted Quantitative Plant Proteomics Service

Targeted quantitative proteomics techniques select specific ions for MS data acquisition, and there is no limit to the number of samples that can be analyzed. This technique can be used to study dynamic changes in the abundance of designated proteins within cells, playing a crucial role in the investigation of biomarkers.

CD BioSciences provides quantitative services and customized solutions for specific proteins in plants. We help clients reveal the links between target protein abundance and plant physiological processes such as growth, development, stress response, and metabolism.

Service Content Description
SRM/MRM Service We provide SRM/MRM with fast detection speed and use a micro-liter liquid phase system. MRM technology is usually suitable for quantitative analysis of specific subgroups of target proteins in a large number of samples.
PRM Service We offer PRM based on MS. PRM technology can perform relative or absolute quantification of target proteins or peptides. The PRM method is suitable for quantitative analysis of small batch samples containing a large number of target proteins.
4D-PRM Service We provide 4D-PRM quantitative services, which can detect multiple proteins at once without relying on antibodies. In addition, we combined the scanning speed of PASEF to increase the number of target ions. Our 4D-PRM quantitative service enables reliable analysis of potential candidate biomarkers.
AQUA Service We provide AQUA based on internal standard peptides and HPLC-MS for absolute protein quantification. This method is commonly used to measure the absolute quantitative level of post-translational modifications after hydrolysis.
PEA Service Our PEA service is based on antibody immunoassay and PCR or second-generation sequencing (NGS) technology. PEA can specifically identify low-abundance proteins and quantify them through qPCR, resulting in fast detection speed.

Application Fields

We are based on advanced quantitative equipment and professional protein-related technology to help customers apply target protein abundance to research in multiple fields, such as

  • High-throughput quantitative proteomics followed by target protein validation.
  • Relative or absolute quantification of functional proteins or peptides.
  • Post-translational modification quantitative research.
  • Research on plant growth and development mechanism, abiotic stress response mechanism, plant disease resistance mechanism, and crop improvement.
  • Food component and quality identification, functional food development, and food safety monitoring.
