Untargeted Quantitative Plant Proteomics Service

Untargeted quantitative plant proteomics is a "global" analysis that accurately quantifies the total amount of protein expressed in a complex mixed system or genome. Our services combine bioinformatics to discover differentially expressed plant proteins and reveal their pathological or physiological functions. This service is typically used in the early research stages of biomarker discovery.

CD BioSciences provides services for untargeted plant proteomics quantitative analysis. Customers only need to tell us their demands and send the samples, and we will provide high-quality quantitative data and subsequent analysis.

Service Content Description
TMT/iTRAQ/MultiNotch Service We use tandem mass spectrometry analysis with multiple (2-10) stable isotope labels, particularly with amino labeling. This method can compare the relative levels of proteins in up to 10 different samples simultaneously. Therefore, it is suitable for large-scale experiments with a large number of samples and can be combined with peptide modification methods to study post-translational modifications.
SILAC/Dimethyl Service We provide SILAC for stable isotope labeling under cell culture conditions to quantify the proteome of passable cell samples. We also offer dimethyl which can be used to label the N-terminus of proteins or the ε-amino group of lysine, and the method is widely applicable.
Label Free Service We provide Label Free does not require the use of labels, only needs to analyze MS data. This method is commonly used to compare the signal strength of peptide segments in different samples and perform relative quantification of the proteins corresponding to the peptide segments. This method is suitable for a large number of samples that require accurate and repeatable quantification.
SWATH Service We provide the SWATH method to fragment the protein and scan all peptide ions within the scanning interval. SWATH can quantitatively determine almost all detectable molecules in complex samples.

Application Fields

  • For the discovery of new biomarkers to study plant physiopathological functions.
  • For efficacy assessment and toxicity assessment during drug development.
  • For the investigation of the mechanism of action of drugs.
  • Screening of differentially expressed proteins in plant stress response for variety improvement studies of crops.
