Description
ZR-75 cell line from A 63-year-old Caucasian woman with breast ductal cancer. This cell line has a polyploid number of hypertriploid chromosomes and expresses estrogen receptors. The ZR-75-1 cell line not only produces a lot of MUC-1 mucin mRNA, but it also has a population doubling period of almost 80 hours. Epithelial cell line ZR-75 is helpful for examining the characteristics of tumors in breast cancer patients.
