Description
Transfection Reagent for NCI-H23 Cells (Lung Adenocarcinoma Cells, CRL-5800)
Product Information
Modes of administration
Reagent exhibits at least 94% transfection efficiency of siRNA delivery. Transfection efficiency was determined by qRT-PCR.
Description
The NCI-H23 cell line came from a man who had lung cancer and was 51 years old. The cell sample was taken before he got any treatment. These cells look like they come from the lining of the lung and have some genetic mutations. They grow pretty fast, dividing every 38 hours. The cells can make different proteins that help them grow and spread. Scientists can use these cells to study lung cancer and try out new drugs. CD BioSciences sells a kit to help scientists introduce new genes into these cells.
