Description
LOVO cells are a type of human colon cancer cell line that have been widely used as a model system for studying various aspects of colorectal cancer biology. They are relatively easy to culture, express markers of colorectal cancer, and exhibit several features characteristic of the disease. LOVO cells have been used to study signaling pathways, screen for potential anticancer agents, and understand the mechanisms underlying drug resistance in colorectal cancer.
