Description
The HT1080 cell line comes from a fibrosarcoma tumor in a human patient and is used in cancer research to study different aspects of cancer biology like cell growth, movement, invasion, and spreading. These cells are especially useful for studying how cancer spreads because they can move and spread through surrounding tissues very well. Scientists also use HT1080 cells to learn about the molecular mechanisms involved in cancer development and progression, and to find new targets for treating the disease. CD BioSciences has a special kit that can help researchers deliver small RNA molecules to HT1080 cells for in vitro experiments.
