Description

Transfection Reagent for DLD-1 Cells (Colon Cancer Cells, CCL-221)

Product Information

Description

The DLD-1 cell line was created in 1979 using cells from the tumor of an adult man who had colorectal cancer. These cells have been modified to express certain genes that are associated with cancer growth and development.

Researchers use the DLD-1 cell line to study different aspects of colorectal cancer, such as how cancer cells respond to different treatments and how they grow and spread. These cells are similar to another cell line called HCT-15, which makes them useful for comparing and contrasting different aspects of colorectal cancer.

CD BioSciences has created a kit that allows researchers to introduce new genetic material into the DLD-1 cells, which can help scientists learn more about how cancer cells function and potentially develop new treatments. These kits have been shown to be effective and produce reliable results.

It should be noted that our products are for research purposes only. Not suitable for any clinical use.
