Description

Transfection Reagent for CLBPEC Cells (Neuroblastoma Cells)

Product Information

Description

CLBPEC cell line is a cell line derived from human breast cancer. It was established in 2004 from a patient with advanced metastatic breast cancer who had received multiple rounds of chemotherapy. CLBPEC cells are estrogen receptor (ER) negative and progesterone receptor (PR) negative, but they express high levels of the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2). The CLBPEC cell line has been used as a model system for studying the biology of HER2-positive breast cancer and for testing novel anti-cancer drugs targeting HER2. It has also been used in research investigating the mechanisms of drug resistance in breast cancer and for identifying potential biomarkers of drug response. In order to undertake comprehensive and nuanced explorations, it is absolutely critical to have a cell transfection system that is both effective and targeted in its approach. With this in mind, the scientific experts at CD BioSciences have successfully engineered a highly specialized transfection kit, specifically optimized for use with the CLBPEC cell line.
