Description

Transfection Reagent for 3LL Cells (Lewis Lung Carcinoma Cells)

Product Information

Description

In the entire world, lung cancer is regarded as the most curable cancer. However, due to a lack of effective treatments and aggressive tumor cell proliferation, it is the most lethal type of cancer with extremely high fatality rates. In preclinical research to examine potential therapeutic drugs to cure human cancer, rodent cell line models are crucial. A widely used transplantable cancer model is the LLC cell line, a well-researched mouse cancer model. Following the 1951 discovery of cancer by Dr. Margaret R. Lewis of the Wistar Institute, Lewis Lung cancer Cells (also known as 3LL Cells or LLC Cells) received their name. The capacity of this cell line to spread when exposed to ultraviolet light has been shown to decrease. Additionally, it has been noted that cannabis inhibit cell development. These cells may be helpful in numerous molecular or cell biology investigations as well as medicinal research on the treatment of specific forms of lung cancer. For this cell line, CD BioSciences offers transfection kits based on nanoparticles.

It should be noted that our products are for research purposes only. Not suitable for any clinical use.
