Research Scientist/Project Manager, Animal Vaccine

Job Description

We are looking for research scientists or project managers to lead research and development (R&D) groups focusing on animal vaccine development.

Candidates are expected to have work experience in (animal) vaccine companies and have experience in applying for government funding for vaccine development.

Responsibilities

  • Design and operate animal vaccine development projects by cooperating with research teams;
  • Perform experiments, troubleshooting, data collection and analysis, complying with applicable regulatory and safety standards;
  • Supervise, mentor, and cross-train scientists within vaccine development groups;
  • Troubleshoot and solve hindering challenges to achieve successful vaccine development;
  • Collaborate cross-functionally for proper utilization of internal resources;
  • Present project plans and ongoing progress regularly.

Qualifications

  • A degree in PharmD or Ph.D. in immunology is preferred; Ph.D. in biology, chemistry, medical science, or other related fields is also considered;
  • A minimum work experience of 5 years from (animal) vaccine companies and experience in applying for government funding for vaccine development;
  • Proficient in vaccine development, especially animal vaccine development;
  • Experienced in the use of specialized laboratory equipment and capable of planning, performing, and troubleshooting scientific experiments;
  • Problem-solving ability and maintaining clear communication with peers and superiors.
