The enzyme can also use the tetrapeptide L-alanyl-gamma-D-glutamyl-meso-2,6-diaminoheptanedioyl-D-alanine or the pentapeptide L-alanyl-gamma-D-glutamyl-meso-2,6-diaminoheptandioyl-D-alanyl-D-alanine in vivo and in vitro. |
