Target Information
Target Name PXK
Gene Abbr. PXK
Gene ID 54899
Full Name PX domain containing serine/threonine kinase like
Alias MONAKA, SLOB
Species Human
Genomic Locus chr3:58365877
Transcript NM_017771
WT Expression Level 21.22 TPM (TPM = Transcripts per million; any value less than 3 is considered non-expressing)
Introduction This gene encodes a phox (PX) domain-containing protein which may be involved in synaptic transmission and the ligand-induced internalization and degradation of epidermal growth factors. Variations in this gene may be associated with susceptibility to systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2014].
