Description
2bp deletion
Target Information
Target Name PLD1
Gene Abbr. PLD1
Gene ID 5337
Full Name phospholipase D1
Alias CVDD
Species Human
Genomic Locus chr3:171737893
Transcript NM_001130081
WT Expression Level 1.50 TPM (TPM = Transcripts per million; any value less than 3 is considered non-expressing)
Introduction This gene encodes a phosphatidylcholine-specific phospholipase which catalyzes the hydrolysis of phosphatidylcholine in order to yield phosphatidic acid and choline. The enzyme may play a role in signal transduction and subcellular trafficking. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants with both catalytic and regulatory properties.
