Wisteria Floribunda Lectin (WFA, WFL), Fluorescein

Cat: PL00744
Size: 2 mg
Sugar Specificity: N-Acetylgalactosamine
Datasheet:

Description

The binding specificity of Wisteria floribunda lectin (WFL) is not fully understood, but this lectin appears to preferentially bind to carbohydrate structures that terminate when n-acetylgalactosamine connects alpha or beta to position 3 or 6 of galactose. This lectin has been used to separate lymphocyte populations and, while not mitotic, can induce lymphokine production in mouse spleen cells.
