Description

Microtubulin (TUA) and tubulin together form microtubules. Microtubules are dynamic intracellular polymers composed of evolutionarily conserved polymorphic α / β tubulin heterodimers and a large number of microtubule-associated proteins (MAPs). The microtubule consists of 13 profilaments with an outer diameter of 25 nanometers. Microtubules have their inherent polarity. High dynamic positive end and low dynamic negative end. Microtubules are necessary for important processes such as mitosis, meiosis, maintenance of cell shape and intracellular transport in eukaryotic cells.
