With a protein extraction filter, total plant soluble protein can be extracted from 50-200mg of plant tissue in 5-8 minutes, while obtaining a high protein yield of 2-8mg /ml. The extraction method is suitable for SDS-PAGE, Western blot, ELISA, IP and enzyme analysis. These extracted proteins can also serve as excellent starting materials for small-scale protein purification using column chromatography techniques.
