Description

TGACG motif binding factor 1 (TGA1) is a transcriptional activator that binds 5'-TGACG-3' DNA sequence. It binds to AS1-like cis-elements to mediate salicylic acid and auxin induced transcription. TGA1 interacts with NPR1 and is involved in the induction of systemic acquired drug resistance (SAR).
