Not reactive in
No confirmed exceptions from predicted reactivity are currently known

Additional information

This antibody so far has been confirmed to detect recombinant SPY protein, GFP-tagged. Optimization of protein extraction and detection using most sensitive reagents may result in recognition of endogenous SPY.

Description

SPY (SPINDLY), an O-linked N-acetylglucosamine transferase (OGT), is involved in a variety of processes including gibberellin (GA) signaling pathways and biological clocks. It catalyzes the addition of nucleotide-activated sugars directly to the polypeptide through an O-glucoside bond with the hydroxyl group of serine or threonine. As an inhibitor of GA signaling pathway, it inhibits hypocotyl elongation. Alias: Possible UDP-N-acetylglucosamine peptide N-acetylglucosamine transferase.
