Description

Slr1821 is a transmembrane metalloproteinase of cystis sp.pcc6803. The protease belongs to SP2-type metallopeptidase, which is a key molecule in intramembrane proteolysis. The second homologous component of cystocystis is encoded by the sll0528 gene.
