Description
Affinity purified ricin lectins (EBL I+II, also known as SNA) are composed of two ricin-related lectins. EBL I+II is not blood group specific, but it does agglutinate type A red blood cells more strongly than type B or O cells. The red blood cells treated with trypsin responded better than the untreated cells.
