Sambucus nigra Lectin (SNA/EBL I+II) - Biotinylated

Cat: PL00547
Size: 2 mg
Sugar Specificity: Sialic Acid
Datasheet:

Description

Biotin is a small molecule involved in a variety of metabolic processes. This ligand forms complexes with avidin and streptavidin, resulting in the strongest known non-covalent protein-ligand interaction. Biotinylated lectin (SNA/EBL I+II) combines an appropriate amount of biotin to provide optimal detection characteristics when using avidin-HRP or streptavidin-HRP conjugated compounds. Biotinylated lectins allow for more sensitive detection in ELISA and Western-blotting applications.
