Description

RPT2a (Regulatory particle triple-A ATPase subunit 2a) is a 26S proteasome subunit. It is necessary for the maintenance of root meristem and regulates gametophytogenesis. RPT2a has also been shown to regulate gene silencing through DNA methylation. Alternative names :26S proteasome AAA-ATPase subunit, RPT2a 26S proteasome subunit 4 homolog A, protein stop root, 26S proteasome regulatory subunit 4 homolog A.
