Description

Proteasome-dependent degradation plays a crucial role in the removal of a variety of key nuclear and cytoplasmic proteins. The substrate is proteolytic via the ubiquitin pathway before being degraded by the 26s proteasome. RPN6 binds to an ATPase subunit of the 19S proteasome regulatory complex AtS6A. Alias :26S proteasome non-ATPase regulatory subunit 11 homolog, 19S proteasome subunit 9,AtS9 26S proteasome regulatory subunit RPN6, AtRPN6, 26S proteasome regulatory subunit S9 homolog.
