Description

RPN11 (26S proteasome regulatory subunit RPN11) is a metalloproteinase component of 26S proteasome that specifically cuts the 'Lys-63' -linked polyubiquitin chain. The 26S proteasome is involved in the ATP-dependent degradation of ubiquitinated proteins. Alternative name :26S proteasome non-ATPase regulatory subunit 14 homolog, AtRPN11.
