Description

Dna-directed RNA polymerase II subunit 1 (EC=2.7.7.6) catalyzes DNA transcription into RNA using four ribonucleosides triphosphate as substrates. This enzyme is a core component of the basic RNA polymerase II transcription mechanism. Synonyms :dna directed RNA polymerase III largest subunit, dna directed RNA polymerase II subunit RPB1.
