Quantitative Proteomics Service for Plant SUMOylation

Small ubiquitin-like modifier (SUMO) refers to the covalent binding of ubiquitin-like proteins to other proteins under the action of enzymes. Unlike ubiquitination modification, SUMOylation does not cause protein degradation but rather participates in regulating biological processes, such as protein stability, nuclear-cytoplasmic transport, subcellular localization, and transcriptional regulation.

CD BioSciences enzymatically hydrolyzes protein samples and enriches modified peptide segments through enzyme digestion and specific antibodies. Using LC-MS/MS for in-depth and highly accurate quantitative analysis of SUMOylation proteins in tissues, cells, and other plant samples.

Service Content Description
LC-MS/MS Combined with Exogenous SUMOylation Proteomic Enrichment Service Our services include the enrichment of exogenous SUMOylated proteomes at both protein and peptide levels. We construct a cell line with stable expression and affinity enrichment tags. Our method has a higher enrichment efficiency for low-abundance SUMOylated proteins.
LC-MS/MS Combined with Endogenous SUMOylation Proteomic Enrichment Service We use strong anion exchange (SAX) chromatography to specifically enrich endogenous SUMO-modified substrates. Improve the quantitative efficiency of mass spectrometry for SUMOylated peptide segments. Our service can accurately reflect the true expression level of SUMO modification in organisms.

Our Service Workflow

Enzymatic hydrolysis of proteins in gel or solution.

Enrichment of SUMOylated proteins through specific antibodies.

HPLC separation followed by MS analysis.

Mass spectrometry data interpretation.
