Description

PsaA is the core protein of photosystem I. In plants and cyanobacteria, the first step in oxygen photosynthesis, photoinduced charge separation, is driven by two large intramembrane protein complexes called photosystems I and II. Photosystem I P700 chlorophyll a apolipoprotein A1.
