NCBI Summary
Pol mutations are recessive suppressors of meristem defects in strong clv1 and clv3 mutants, and nearly complete suppressors of weak clv1 mutants. Single mutants appear normal. Acts downstream of the CLV signaling pathway in meristem development and is required together with PLL1 for stem-cell maintenance through the regulation of WUS.
