PLDA1/2(phospholipase Dα1/2) is an enzyme that hydrolyzes glycerol-phospholipids at the end of the phosphodiester bond and plays an important role in plant hormone action and stress response. The protein is highly expressed in roots, stems and flowers, and moderately expressed in leaves, seedlings and leaf sheaths. Not detected in seeds. ABA, ethylene, heavy metals, cold, salt and osmotic stress induction. Optional names :PLDalpha1, PLDα1, Choline phosphatase 1, PLDalpha, Phosphatidylcholine hydrolase d1, choline phosphatase 2, Phosphatidylcholine hydrolase d2, PLDalpha2, PLDα2.
