Application

Description

Phenol extraction has a high degree of cleaning power. It is able to act as a separating agent and reduces the interaction between proteins and other molecules. The main disadvantage of the phenol extraction method is that it is too time consuming (at least 6h), in addition both phenol and methanol are toxic. All operations are carried out in a biological safety cabinet.
