The kit contains a mixture of protease inhibitors that prevents protein degradation by proteases and ensures the extraction of high purity proteins.
The proteins extracted in this kit are active proteins with natural protein conformation. This kit does not contain EDTA and is compatible with downstream applications such as metal chelation chromatography. The proteins extracted in this kit can be used in downstream protein research experiments such as WB, protein electrophoresis, immunoprecipitation, ELISA, transcriptional activity assay, Gel shift gel block assay, enzyme activity assay, etc.
The protein samples extracted from this kit contain high concentration of salt, so they cannot be used directly in 2D electrophoresis, and need to be desalted and then used in 2D electrophoresis. If the downstream experiments need to be used directly for isoelectric focusing and bidirectional electrophoresis, please use our kits with other product numbers.

The optimised composition of the mixture allows it to inhibit almost all essential protease activities.
