This kit provides a simple and rapid method to extract mitochondrial proteins in less than 1 hour. The kit contains a unique formulation that effectively solubilises mitochondrial membrane fractions. The mixture of protease inhibitors contained in the kit prevents the degradation of the protein by proteases, providing for the extraction of high purity proteins.
The proteins extracted in this kit are active proteins with natural protein conformation. This kit does not contain EDTA and is compatible with downstream applications such as metal chelate chromatography. The proteins extracted in this kit can be used in downstream protein research experiments such as WB, protein electrophoresis, immunoprecipitation, ELISA, transcriptional activity analysis, Gel shift gel blocking assay, enzyme activity assay and so on.
This kit adopts non-enzymatic extraction, the extraction process is simple and convenient, fast, can be completed within 1 hour, can not be directly used in 2D electrophoresis.
Centrifuge the reagents in spin-cap centrifuge tubes by centrifuging briefly before opening the cap to shake the liquid on the inner wall of the cap to the bottom of the tube to avoid spilling the liquid when opening the cap.
All reagents during the experiment shall be pre-cooled; all apparatus shall be pre-cooled in a -20°C refrigerator. Samples should be kept at a low temperature throughout the process.

Mitochondrial protein extract C 15mL/30mL
Protease inhibitor mixture 100μL/200μL
Protease inhibitors can also be stored at 2 to 8°C before use without opening the cap, and at -20°C after use with the cap open. Protease inhibitors are in a solid state at 2 to 8°C. After removal from the refrigerator and return to room temperature or 37°C for a short time in a water bath, they become liquid and are centrifuged to the bottom of the tube before opening the cap.
