Plant Membrane Protein Extraction Kit (2d Electrophoresis)

This kit is a high yield membrane protein extraction kit based on chemical rather than detergent methods. The Plant Membrane Protein Extraction Kit can extract membrane proteins from various plants, and can be used for crude preparation of purified membrane proteins and membrane protein preparation. The extraction process is simple and convenient. The kit contains a protease inhibitor mixture and a phosphatase inhibitor mixture, which prevents protein degradation by proteases and provides a guarantee of high quality protein extraction. The extracted proteins are used for bidirectional electrophoresis.

Protease inhibitors inhibit protein degradation and the protease inhibitor formulation is optimised. The Protease Inhibitor Blend contains seven individual protease inhibitors; each inhibitor specifically inhibits one or more protease activities. The mixture's optimised composition allows it to inhibit almost all essential protease activities, including serine proteases, cysteine acid proteases, aspartate proteases, alanyl-aminopeptidases, etc.
