CD BioSciences devoted to plant biology research. We provide our customers with high-quality plant protein extraction and purification services, using salting-out methods, heating methods, and organic solvent methods to separate and extract plant leaf proteins, providing assistance for basic and applied scientific research.
During plant growth, proteins are continuously synthesized in the above-ground stem and leaf cells to support the construction of new cell tissues and organs. These proteins, called Leaves Protein Concentrates (LPC), belong to the functional protein category. CD BioSciences uses a variety of methods to prepare protein from plant leaves. Different extraction methods have different ways and degrees of sample processing.

Sample Type | Detail |
Herbaceous leaf | the leaf is thin and soft, such as mint, Pokeweed, radish leaf, etc. |
Paper leaf | the leaf texture is flexible and thin, such as Chinese rose, paulownia, hibiscus, sycamore, hibiscus, maple tree, etc. |
Leathery leaf | the leaf is thick, the epidermal cells are keratinized, and the leaves are tough and bright, such as privet, magnolia, heather, etc. |
Fleshy leaf | the leaf is fleshy and contains more water, such as sedum, longevity flower, gem flower leaves, etc. |
Leaf sample preparation | Fresh plant leaves ≥ 1 g |
Freeze-dried plant leaves ≥ 200 mg | |
Sample repetition time ≥ 6 |
