Description

Phenotypic oilseed rape lectin or lectin (PSA) is a heterodimer consisting of four subunits. It is carbohydrate specific for mannose-containing oligosaccharides. Its hemagglutinating activity can be inhibited by glucose, mannose and sucrose. It has no blood group specificity. The n-terminal sequence of this lectin has some homology with lectins from other legumes.
