Cy3 can be used to visualize the binding patterns of Pisum sativum lectins (PSA/PSL) in cell imaging and flow cytometry. Cy3 is more stable than many other fluorophores and can be seen with TRITC filters. It is often used in combination with green fluorescent dyes for double labeling
