Pistachio Protein Rapid Kit

The Pistachio Protein Rapid Kit is a qualitative immunolayer chromatography lateral flow test used to screen for the presence of pistachio protein residues in food, ingredients, clean-in-place (CIP) final rinse water, and environmental cottonseed.

The Pistachio Protein Rapid Kit uses a lateral Flow device (LFD), an immunochromatographic test that uses antibodies that specifically detect pistachio protein. When pistachio protein reaches the limit of detection (LOD), a positive result is shown by the presence of three lines: a control line, a hook line, and a test line. One control line ensures that the test is working properly, and the other two lines list undetectable, low and high levels of pistachio protein.
