Description

The auxin effector component of Arabidopsis thaliana, AtPIN2, is encoded by the AtPIN2 gene (also called EIR1 and AGR1). AtPIN protein is asymmetrically located in the plant material membrane and mediates the polar transport of plant auxin. AtPIN2 is a key regulator of Arabidopsis root response to gravity. Aliases: Auxin effector AGR, ethylene insensitive root 1,AtEIR1, polar auxin effector Component ag1, protein AGRAVITROPIC 1, AtAGR1, protein WAVY 6.
