Description

PARP (EC=2.4.2.30) is a protein involved in the base excision repair pathway (BER) and catalyzes ADP-riboylation of a limited number of receptor proteins involved in chromatin structure and DNA metabolism. PARP is a hallmark of single strand breaks (SSBs), Rybaczek and Kowalewicz-Kulbat(2013). Alias :ADPRT 2, NAD(+) ADP-ribose transferase 2, poly [ADP-ribose] synthetase 2.
