Description

PAG1 (20S proteasome alpha subunit G1) is a component of the 26S 20S core complex. The 26S proteasome consists of a core protease (CP), called the 20S proteasome, which is covered at one or both ends by 19S regulatory particles (RP/PA700). The 20S proteasome core consists of 28 subunits arranged in four stacked rings to form a barrel-like structure. The two end rings each consist of seven alpha subunits, and the two central rings each consist of seven beta subunits. Alias :20S proteasome alpha subunit G-1, DiDi 17A-2a, proteasome component 8, proteasome alpha subunit type 7.
