Oxalate oxidase (EC=1.2.3.4) belongs to the oxidoreductase family and acts on the aldehyde or oxygen group of the donor with oxygen as the acceptor. These reactions are specific to glyoxylate and dicarboxylate metabolism. Alias: oxygen oxidoreductase, oxygen-oxalate dehydrogenase, oxalate oxidase.
