Description

NodGS(nodoproteins/glutamate-ammonia ligase-like proteins) are homologous to nodoproteins and self-assemble into oligomers in response to treatment with flagellin. It contains the C-terminal domain of prokaryotic glutamine synthetase type i. The protein is mainly localized in the cytoplasm and exists in an oligomeric form of about 700 kDa.
