Description

Horseradish peroxidase (HRP) is a 40 kDa protein that catalyzes substrate oxidation by hydrogen peroxide to produce colored or fluorescent products or release light as a byproduct of the reaction. It is most commonly used in western blotting, immunoassays, and immunohistochemical methods. Pseudodaffodil lectin (NPL/NPA) is coupled with HRP in the appropriate ratio to obtain the best staining characteristics.
