Description

LUC (Luciferase) is derived from the Photinus pyralis (Common eastern firefly) (Lampyris pyralis), a light-producing enzyme. Luciferase is used in bioluminescent analysis systems and shows inherent luminescence, which makes them suitable for a variety of analyses, including in vivo imaging, cell viability.
