Lens culinaris Lectin (LCA/LCH) - Texas Red

Cat: PL00019
Size: 2 mg/5 mg/10 mg
Sugar Specificity: α-Mannose, α-Glucose
Datasheet:

Description

Texas Red is a red fluorescent dye that, when combined with LCA/LCH, displays the binding pattern of this lectin in cellular imaging applications. There is little to no overlap between the emission spectra of Texas Red and FITC, which makes this combination ideal for dual labeling experiments. Rhodamine dyes, such as Texas Red, are more photostable and less sensitive to pH changes than other dyes such as fluorescein.
