Horseradish peroxidase (HRP) is a 40 kDa protein that catalyzes the oxidation of substrates by hydrogen peroxide to produce colored or fluorescent products or release light as a byproduct of the reaction. It is most commonly used for blotting, immunoassays and immunohistochemical methods.Lens culinaris (Lentil) lecectin (LCA/LCH) is coupled to HRP in the appropriate ratio to provide optimal staining properties.
