Description

Jasmonic acid (JA) is a member of the jasmonic acid family of plant hormones, which is derived from the fatty acid linolenic acid and biosynthesized from linolenic acid via the octadecanoic acid pathway. Its main function is to regulate plant response to abiotic and biological stresses as well as plant growth and development.
