Description

Hsp101/ClpB is a member of the HSP100 protein family. These proteins help protein aggregates formed during heat stress break down, allowing them to be refolded by other companion proteins. In addition to being expressed during heat stress, members of the HSP100 protein family are also expressed during seed development.
