Description

Horseradish peroxidase (HRP) is a 40 kDa protein that catalyzes substrate oxidation by hydrogen peroxide to produce colored or fluorescent products or release light as a byproduct of the reaction. It is most commonly used in western blotting, immunoassays, and immunohistochemical methods. Hippeastrum hybrid lectin (HHL) is coupled to HRP in appropriate proportions to provide optimal staining properties.
